Position Summary

As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Fox Chevrolet, you will manage all sales activities including generating and managing leads, guiding customers through the buying process, and finalizing sales transactions. You will be instrumental in maintaining our dealership’s success by delivering excellent service and expert vehicle knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct needs analysis to understand desired vehicle make, type, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in showroom or during test drives.
  • Research inventory availability and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance managers to negotiate sales price, including taxes, trade-in values, licensing fees, and financing or lease terms.
  • Inspect inventory by walking the lot regularly.
  • Complete required paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their features.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent education and training.
  • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with thorough follow-up abilities to maintain client relationships before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver’s license is required.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.
